It’s been a busy start to the YFC year here in Nottinghamshire.
All the clubs have successfully elected their new officers, and they have been showing the general public what it is to be a YFC member, as they travelled the county with the YFC trailer visiting many shows.
The NFYFC Mascot “Supermoo” also made an appearance at Southwell Ploughing Match and Show, well done to all the clubs who shouted about YFC at one of the shows, and hello to all the lovely people we spoke to, who we hope will join us this year.
New for the start of the year was a new members social, at the beginning of the month, hosted at Southwell Rugby Club-a great chance for young people to come and find out a bit more about YFC, socialise with current members and get a better feel for YFC life. We even had people that came on their own, but, they were soon snapped up by a club hoping to recruit them. It was a lovely evening, helped by the free food and funny photos being projected on the wall…..same time next year???
