There were a few surprised looks from passers by who came across a group of young farmers pushing a bed to raise money for charity. The three-quarter bed travelled nearly 16 miles from Wellow to Laxton, through Ollerton, Walesby, Milton, Tuxford and Egmanton.
12 members from Tuxford took part in the challenge which took about 3.5 hours, it was the clubs main fundraising activity of the year and has raised more than £900 so far.
The money will be divided between the Children with Cancer UK Charity, Teenage cancer trust and the Brain Tumour Charity. They were chosen in memory of a Tuxford member who died of a brain tumour earlier in the year.
Well done to all those involved.
