The Trent Valley Training group have made a donation of £450 to Nottinghamshire YFC.
Trent Valley Training are a non-profit making group which has been in operation for over 30 years. They are registered with Lantra Awards which enables them to offer short training courses within the land based sector – with many leading towards Lantra assessments or NPTC City & Guilds level 2 or 3 awards.
They offer a variety of courses/training; Arable Group, Chainsaw, First Aid, Forestry, Fork Lift, Health & Safety, Livestock, Management & Supervisor, Pesticides, Vermin Control, Workshop Skills – and many others.
They ran a Plough Course earlier in the year with Tractors from Claas Marsh-Seward, and a plough from Lemken kindly donated, they charged a nominal fee to those attending and decided to donate the proceeds to YFC. They’re hoping to run the course again so contact TVT if you are interested.
YFC would like to thank the committee very much for the donation, YFC is very lucky to receive such support from the local farming community.
