The 2016 Rally was kindly hosted by the Hawthorne Family, on there farm in Flawborough.
There were over 250 entries throughout the day of competitions, these included; Egg Catching, A cook Challenge, Pallet Re-cycling, bush tucker trial, Human Stock judging, Tug of War and the ever famous great water race! We also hosted the East Midlands Area finals of the Weathervane and Cake Decorating competitions.
Well done to Collingham who cleaned up this year, and claimed the overall Rally trophy (as well as the Show & Club of the Year trophies!)runners up were Cropwell and 3rd place were Lowdham overall.
Tuxford were awarded the Special Activity Trophy for the cook challenge and Water Race combined points, Lowdham won the Tug of War, Worksop won the junior nature trail and Collingham won the senior nature trail trophies.
It was a great day in sunshine, and we even had our ever enthusiastic National Chairman, Chris Manley in attendance.
We were also pleased to have Horsch on board as the main event sponsor, a great addition to this years event.
Well done to all those involved, Callum and Jess for your hard work and thank you to those who judged, stewarded or gave up their time to help.
