Armed with wheelbarrows, shovels and sweeping bushes members from Papplewick YFC were keen to help the village of Linby (where they host there meetings) with their big tidy up earlier on in the year, just in time for the judging of the Best Kept Village competition and the open gardens.
Their time and effort was greatly appreciated by the parish council. YFC’s are often the first port of call for any community work, and they have been known to do anything from clearing out dykes to car parking the annual village firework display….always happy to help and with a smile too.
