Congratulations to Papplewick Member Melissa Hatton who won the Miss YFC title on Saturday, it has been 13 years since the club have taken home the trophy.
Runner up prize went to Josie Troop of Collingham YFC. Both young, but with bags of enthusiasm for YFC life.
Melissa is 18 and is currently the club sports secretary and Treasurer. She was very proud to represent the county at the Area final of the Junior Member of the Year competition; she says it helped with her confidence and presentation skills which she used to secure her current job as a teaching assistant.
The competition was very kindly sponsored by Nottingham Trent University-Brackenhurst, Melissa won an IPad Mini, Flowers sponsored by Mr & Mrs D Yates, The Catherine Banks Trophy and certificate.
