More than 120 guests enjoyed a three-course lamb lunch and guest speaker was Mark Spencer MP for Sherwood. Mr Spencer studied at the Shuttleworth Agricultural College in Bedfordshire before joining the family farm business in Nottinghamshire, he was an active member of YFC, becoming National Federation of Young Farmers Chairman.

Adrian Johnston, CEO of the County Showground, said: “We are delighted to raise so much money for these four worthy causes, who do a great deal of good for the rural community of our county.”
