‘life as a single young farmer’ wins best performance

Well done to the Notts team of Sam Tooley, Haydn Short and Callum Kendall who put on a great performance at last nights East Midlands Area NFU Public Speaking competition.

Congratulations to Sam who was awarded best performance for her light hearted, funny and insightful speech on the ‘life of a single young farmer’

The annual competition which is sponsored by the Newark Branch of the NFU, took place at NTU Brackenhurst campus, with teams from Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire competing. Points were tight with Derbyshire A finishing in 1st place. Winners were awarded the Bernard Maule shield and vouchers provided by the NFU.
