This past weekend after the county finals over 100 members from Nottinghamshire took the journey to Skegness for the area finals, along with competitors from Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.

We had competitors competing in Badminton, Hockey, Volleyball, junior public speaking, intermediate brainstrust, Senior Debating, junior member of the year, Ambassador of the year and Fancy Dress.

A special mention must go to Chris Brown who represented us in the Ambassador of the year final finishing in 3^rd place, the winning volleyball team of Kirsten Hoggard, Tom Creed, George Bingham, Craig Voce, Matthew Rose, Louise Woolhouse and Susan Temporal who will now go through to the National Finals.

The winning Hockey team of Richard Baugh, Amy Baugh, Will Walker, Jem Hill, Lucy Moore, Laura Wardell, Rob Handy, Rob Chase and Liz Haigh who will also go through to the National finals.

A big congratulations must go to all the competitors. Nottinghamshire won the overall Sports trophy and joint 2^nd overall, our best results for some years!
